Both earrings are clearly marked STERLING, consistent with Mexican silver production prior to the Eagle mark system introduced in 1948. The maker’s mark—featuring N and E flanking a central vertical bar within a Y form—suggests a small studio silversmith, adding to their individuality and appeal.
