One thing that appealed to me about this mesh screen is how versatile it is. If it’s on both of our vehicles just fine. I did notice on my smaller SUV that I could maybe need some more secure line for the lower clips which just hook onto the wheel of the vehicle. The lines are very stretchy and would fit a variety of vehicles, but for mine since I didn’t need that much space I might have to shorten them in some way. Not a complaint at all though. They fit just fine and stayed on securely. I’m just worried about high wind.It’s really nice that the set comes with magnets that are cloth covered so that you can put them on your car without worrying about scratching etc. However, like most cars, my bumper is mostly plastic so there’s limited areas where I can actually put them that they will magnetize to. However, I do think they will really help with keeping out any bugs from areas that might be flapping in the wind.I was impressed at how much shade this provides. I live in the desert so any amount of shade when I’m outside is appreciated. Because the mesh does go over the rear window when the tailgate is lifted, it also provides additional shade structuring.One nice feature is that there are zippers on both the interior and exterior of the mesh. Useful for everyone.I didn’t have any trouble setting this up by myself, I’m 5’7. I used a small step stool that I had in my trunk to put it on to test and it was no problem to get it on there by myself.This would be great for car camping to have your tailgate up during the evening and enjoy the breeze etc before taking it down for the night and closing up the vehicle. It is super simple and quick to set up and also to break down.The mesh is a pretty solid quality, I will say the carrying bag is not the best. It’s a little bit challenging to get the mesh into the bag and then get the bag closed, but I’m not going to worry about that too much. I can also imagine using this on days of the lake or other times when you might want to have the tailgate open without bees or other insects bothering you.
