120W Water Pressure Booster Pump 115VAC,396 GPH,21.7 PSI Household Automatic Home Booster Pump with Water Flow Switch for Home Kitchen Bathroom Irrigation(H15GR-15)
This booster was installed in-line after my shallow well pump. The shallow well pump puts out about 40-50- PSI in the house. I’ve been having issues with the pressure on the 2nd floor for some time and thought I’d give this a shot. As you can see by the pics, the install was pretty straight forward. I installed a Shark Bite check valve just before the Booster Pump. You can see by the gauges that I got just about a 20 PSI boost in pressure. This pump is not as noisy as some have said in their reviews – this one is quieter than my shallow well pump. So far very pleased with the quality and performance of this little booster pump.Update: 3-17-21 This pump still works as designed. One note to potential buyers – you do not need the GHT adapters for residential use. GHT is for garden hose. The fittings on both ends are 1/2″ NPT and mate to female 1/2″ NPT water pipe thread. Additionally, some have said the pressure switch has I and II indicating I for constant ON and II for when a drop in pressure is detected. My pump came with the labeling of MOVE – STOP – AUTO. I’m very pleased with this pump. If things change, I’ll send an update.Update: 4-21-22 contrary to what some have said, you can put two pumps on the same line to increase your water pressure by about 40 pounds per square inch. I finished this project and my water pressure now at the second floor is almost 80 PSI. Just check out the pics. These pumps add about 20 psi each. Quite impressive.
