A delightful and rare Art Deco napkin ring carved in the form of a stylised rabbit, produced in vibrant red Bakelite. The sculptural design captures the playful character of the rabbit with clean geometric lines typical of the 1920s Art Deco period. A small amber-coloured cabochon forms the eye, adding a charming and distinctive detail. The rich red Bakelite has a wonderful depth of colour and a smooth polished surface that highlights the elegant form. Pieces of this whimsical design are increasingly difficult to find and make an appealing addition to a Bakelite or Art Deco tableware collection.
