This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students. The top of the cranium and mandible are both missing. There are no teeth present, however due to healing around the gaps, the individual likely lost their teeth during their lifetime. There is an additional cut across the frontal bone. This skull has a grey patina and metal hardware.
