Like many others, I am not using them for hockey. I am using them for rubber feet. I have cats and I vacuum and mop a lot. Cat trees, floor standing home theater speakers and so on sit flat on the floor and trap dirt under them or can be damaged from moisture when mopping. I put these hockey pucks under them to raise them up. I didn’t think Id like them as much as I did but I’ve ordered more as I found more places to put them.They have a slight smell that is like a new car tire. It’s not a strong as some other rubber products, but it will be noticeable. Just let them air out in the garage in or in the sun for awhile and it will diminish.The mesh bags are somewhat meh and its not a big deal.
